We have accounts at Lowe's and HD and use them very regularly (we are among the top contractor's in our area by $ amount at each store).

HD & Lowes sells granule poison that can spread around the perimitter of the house, as well as spray, interior poison traps, etc. that would help keeping the ant populations at bay.

Again not sure how it stacks up head to head with the HD discount but could be worth shopping around a bit.

You won't get your money back....I would recommend looking at both Lowes and HD for their stock doors and getting a local installer.
