Which study do you think has more audit defensibility?

I’m curious to hear from others who are actively pursuing or already tracking their Real Estate Professional (REP) hours.Which platforms or tools do you find yourself doing the bulk of your real estate work in (e.g. property management software, spreadsheets, CRMs, deal analysis tools, etc.)?

I use QBO exclusively for my real estate clients and my own portfolio because its integrations and features make it more efficient than other software.

Will they defend my report in an IRS audit?

My accountant wants me to start doing this in the event of an audit being I’m starting larger projects and will be implementing cost segregation Thanks

In other cases there may be times when you want to give a copy of your file to someone that is totally separate (IRS audits, perhaps?)

In the event of an audit, you'd need to prove your passive.Assuming you're passive, then you can buy long term or medium term rentals and do a cost segregation study

Has anyone used privy pro for wholesaling deals? Also where do you get contracts for Colorado market? Does Privy or batchleads help on finding buyers to figure out their buying box?
