Follow that natural tendency and brainstorm with ChatGPT what you could do to monetize that skill.

For instance, a home builder is not really going to be able to provide you much useful information if you are looking to acquire light industrial properties.The skills/connections needed to be a developer are different than those needed buy an existing hotel and turn it around.If you really need a basic knowledge I would recommend reading some books from Amazon. 

You can also look for advisors who have completed the Real Estate Financial Coach Course, a continuing education course for CFPs designed to enhance their real estate financial planning skills.
