@Mike Fitzpatrick  I have been doing finish carpentry my whole life and I currently work for one of the biggest construction management firms in New England so I am definitely not afraid to get my hands dirty and rehab a house. 

I travel quite a bit for work all throughout New England and would love to buy you lunch one day.

I currently live in the Boston area working in digital marketing / advertising and am looking to invest throughout the New England area and potentially beyond that depending on the opportunity.

I was stationed in England for a while with rental properties in the US.  

Hello @Mike Hurney A big part of where I end up doing the bulk of investing will be wherever I can land a full-time job in New England.

Panels can make a lot of sense in the sunny southwest US but in New England...its just a complete waste of money.

What I don't have is a steady job and a reliable source of income as I relocate every 6 months as a golf professional (FL for the winters and New England [VT for now] for the summers - I dig it though!). 

I used to participate in their real-estate investment discussions when I lived in England and started researching buy-to-let investing there.
