Especially on higher values assets because they will fight with an expensive contested foreclosure (I also learned to vet lawyers that cap contested FC to $5K just incase).  

Unfortunately, over-leveraged analytically is a massively contested debate.

In her case, she was able to contest the 2nd lien and was able to get this ruled in her favor, due to negligence of account tracking by the lien holder.
