I was there :-) And I just made this point on another forum......the Fed is stupidly trying to recreate this period.....thinking that raising interest rates will do what it did 30-something years ago.

As one of the other guys pointed out if it is a recreational park it operates a lot like a hotel and weather, time of year, ect need to be factored in but if it is long term park it is a lot like a MHP.

@Gail W. agreed, I met a developer recently, he says he refinances his properties which are in LLCs, then takes that money for recreational purposes in his own name, to essentially use for vacations etc.

I often think that people are overlooking the unique concept or trying recreate the wheel ( mobile homes).
