I'm going long on precious metal mining stocks.

Any guarantees and stuff like that are, as my grandpa used to say in German "Jewelry on the night-gown".

Keep in mind some of those Southern churches are very wealthy and those running it are driving top end cars  50k rolex and wifes decked out in hundreds of thousands of Nice personal jewelry this is what I saw when I worked MS TN and AL.. those Pastors were quite wealthy.

I own no property in USA, and most of my legal/financial moorings are based on my location overseas: residence in Korea; bank is US but address of account is based on an Armed Forces Post Office; tax address is my Dad's home in Kansas; precious metal holdings in Florida; no US-based drivers license (lived and worked in Korea since 2008. 

Could hold precious metals but silver is being manipulated to remain low lol. 

However, if one of you goal is to preserve you newly inherited cash, have you thought about investing at least a percentage of that cash into precious metals, like gold, silver etc.

Look at precious metals for wealth protection, not necessarily investment. 

Or is this Realtor running around, showing you properties that you have no intention of buying, thus totally wasting his/her precious time and money?
