Beaverton should find better success developing it's core and at some point suburbs will begin to form hubs with urban feel and  suburban amenities.

Knowing that I have a hub of help at my fingertips makes me that much more passionate!

Of course not to say this is the deal breaker, but rough math tells me that with ourselves living in, it probably won't cashflow well with big chunk of rent going to mortgage payment.So I started to enlarge the span a bit and visited some properties in Truro since I heard it's the 'Hub'.

Well, what happens if, in 20 years, Silicon Valley is no longer a tech hub?  

I see the city/community is trying to revitalize this hub.

The thing that attracted me to the Twin Cities area is how many white collar jobs there are (it's a banking hub in the midwest). 

Many believe there is still room for growth as we start creating the infrastructure to make Fresno into a technology hub of the central valley.

You could go one better, find a run down neighborhood within a mile or two of of a business hub and buy the whole neighborhood.  

Being a newbie too, I've discovered in short order that this is definitely a hub of info and connections to help us get started.
