Marinas and commercial land for sale made me think that the invasive carp issue was affecting the draw to the lake or it was not exactly a booming tourism market.

In Michigan we are blessed with more beaches and freshwater lakes than anywhere else and a thriving (and yes pretty seasonal) tourism industry.

The USD goes a long way in these countries and tourism as well as international investments in their infrastructure is on the rise.

Agree, if anything, the play is probably more of a vacation home for personal use - and a prayer that someday the towns attract more tourism and rental yields. 

When they shut Vegas down we saw a huge in influx of tourism to Deadwood, SD. 

American corporations are investing billions into the country, its real estate, tourism and manufacturing.

There is a shocking amount of tourism there and young adults travel from around the county and the world to work at amusement parks and water parks in the area because the companies provide internships and work visas.

That being said, we focus on micro units (1-2 guests max) and have no problem having our units booked every weekend with scattered weekdays.The sad thing is we used to be at nearly 95% occupancy in 2017-2019 but once everyone started joining the party and our city started throwing up tons of hotels to keep up with tourism demad, we dropped to more like 65% occupancy.Keep your head up, man!

And, there are $22B projects under construction, which will create thousands of additional jobs.A population growing at a sustainable rate (2.5% to 3%), limited land for expansion, and good-paying jobs will keep Las Vegas rents and prices increasing for the foreseeable future.Other factors will continue Las Vegas’ growth for the foreseeable future that I will not go into here.A question I frequently get concerns income reliability - the connection between jobs and tourism.

Why do you think this shift has occurred in an area with more rentals, tourism, government, and military than the rest of the country?
