Try VOO (S&P 500) or similar dividend fund which doesn't make sense but some people like the psychological feeling of monthly "rent" like checks.

Especially if you lack the skills or time to do value-add deals or find better priced off market deals.I think so many people discount the *psychological effect* of financial independence.

The triggers of a recession are irrelevant because the financial cycles are the product of mass human psychology; a self realizing prophecy based the belief of patterns and that what happened in the past repeats itself.

Do not go for an art major, or psychology like most of these modern day yuppies.

With where I am and what I've accomplished and the knowledge I have of psychology and the subconscious mind I would never be arrogant enough to say that I made it here on my own.

The spiritual psychology one (not religious, fyi) is the one that keeps me sane with god only know what happens! 

Great topic....I am at a similar psychological crossroads too and I pivoted back to putting my health first.
