ok I have an LG Gas stove oven that  the oven will just turn itself on than off again at all times during the day or night yes it does have self ignite  I've visually looked over it I couldn't see anything wrong but I don't really knew about these stoves is there something I should be concerned with this and could you tell me if this is common

Furthermore, when these 'connections' do overheat they will not trip a circuit breaker per se (typically activated by excess current), but instead could become 'hot' enough to ignite the surroundings.Assuming it hasn't been a problem for 30-40 years is also a misconception, because the longer these splices/connections etc are allowed to deteriorate the greater the potential for a fire hazard.Good luck !!!
