We do donate a small portion of our re commissions to a program called KW Cares and I'm on the culture committee at my office.

Maybe you can if you already have a perfect SAT, make a large donation to the school, and have a personal relationship with the head of admissions. 

Or if you want tax deductible options you can make a donation in their name instead.

As previously stated, at times they require more maintenance than stoves and refrigerators.I would suggest selling/donating, rather than having them just collect dust.
