I didn't renew number 6's lease after a year even though they wanted to stay because even though they paid, they were a pain in my butt and were 'schemers' having different charities pay their rent because he didn't want to get a job but still wanted to get high every day.

And the total and utter disgust I've been feeling at politicians, organizations, and some of the general public being so flippant as to tell rental property owners they can't evict has just added another layer to the ugly cake for me.It's galling that for years politicians have grossly undercut affordable housing programs, but suddenly expect us to become de-facto charities against our will. 

These charity services also end up just dropping support with refugees after either a certain amount of time or they violate a condition with the charity.

When we do have them that get behind, we give them a list of all the charities in our market that help people at risk of homelessness.  

In that same market there is someone looking to sell their home and through appreciation are going to make a great return on their house which they could use to retire early, upgrade, cover assisted living for the elderly, give to charity, or make it rain at the club. 

Charity is important but I generally keep giving separate from business.

As much as I tried to convince them of the value they were getting for their ad, I knew it was basically charity.

Give the money to the kids/grandkids or give it to charity?
