The city requires the garage concrete floor to be a certain thickness when it is inhabited vs. just used for vehicles, so I know someone who had to excavate the floor then pour a new foundation that is the proper thickness.

If flange is a quarter or so below finished surface, Im comfortable just using a Jumbo or extra thick ring.Being a remodeler, Im always thinking of the next guy cuz I so often wish the last guy had thought about me!!
