@Ryan BeckerCheck the US Embassy in your country; I have had to do this while in Hong Kong and closing on commercial properties back in the US.https://nl.usembassy.gov/u-s-c...If you need to send documents back to the US; I usually use DHL since it is like $50 to send papers anywhere in the world within 2-3 days.

I think Hong Kong has been haemorrhaging value lately and I live in London so can share some numbers I was just running today because we are deciding whether to do more property here or in the US:I was a bit shocked by my results -- even though I had heard from posh friends who bought in central London around the time of the Brexit referendum that they negotiated discounts of 10% the day after the vote and since then their property fell another 10%.But I was kind of shocked to see the flat / negative return over 7 years in those 2 posh areas.

I'm 28 years old born in Central Florida but raised in Hong Kong, where I have a permanent residence card, which would allow me to invest in real estate here, on a 99 year lease (I believe) or back home in Florida, where some of my family still resides.To this point I've got about 35kusd in savings with the ability to save at least 1k per month.
