Of course you request should be peppered with the message that you understand they wouldn't be giving you an approval rather only providing guidance to you as to whether it would be feasible for them to issue a rezoning on the property.

@Pepper Smith, With those TIC allocations laid out and your accountant accounting for them appropriately there should be no reason why Unit 1 could not be an income producing asset of the IRA, an income producing asset purchased by you through a 1031 exchange.
