how has build to rent been going for you in your market?

They always pay there rent on time or before. 

Were I just starting out in REI, I would certainly be seeking a 2 to 4 unit property to live in one unit while renting out the others.

As a room for rent they would have no access to your kitchen and no kitchen unless you provide one so it would be misleading to call it a room for rent and very difficult to live in without a kitchen.

The first one I got rented to a section 8 tenant in literally 1 day. 

I'm going to start renting my first property in about a year.

So since you don't need the equity right now anyways, just hire a PM and rent it out.

The rent received each month on the single family was $1500.

I'm currently looking at purchasing my first rental property and have found that the area I am interested in purchasing in, doesn't show many, or really any, rent comps for SFH.

I use Doorloop for rent collection and have liked it.
