For example upgrading from an old 60 amp service to a 200 amp - A Federal Pacific panel which has a stigma associated with them about being unsafe- An old panel from an off brand that is difficult to find replacement breakers for- A VERY old panel that uses fuses instead of breakers- A panel in poor condition such as one in a wet basement that has rusted badly.
