First off, no matter how ridiculous the whole idea of having a pit bull as an assistance dog to help with depression may seem at first, the truth is that in SOME cases, depression and/or other mental issues can certainly cause people severe disabilities that are just as debilitating as any physical condition.

There have been many people close to me that have worked so hard their entire lives, retired at 55-60 and then been struck with debilitating sickness that has completely altered their final years or ended them prematurely.

This assumes that such loans aren't financially debilitating but you seem to be in a great spot!
