Tenant told me Thursday there is probably mold behind the walls and everywhere from the backup, and he felt the house is kind of stuffy is probably an indication of toxic mold presence for however long he's been there.There has been zero moisture penetration from roof leaks or plumbing leaks and no previous tenant ever complained about air quality.

The resulting damage required repairs costing over $3,500.Sewer Line Replacement: During the shower remodel, broken tile pieces and debris from the GC’s work were found clogging the sewer line, necessitating a complete replacement at a cost of over $3,900.Additional Issues: Poor workmanship also led to defective toilet installation and a leaking kitchen sink, further increasing repair expenses.In total, the GC’s negligence has cost me over $10,000 in repairs and corrective work, in addition to the original rehabilitation costs.

They could be settling cracks which could mean expansive soils or foundation damage, or they could be due to water damage from a previous leak, active leak, etc.

One was to permit some electrical and mini split condenser that was done without a permit and a gas run that city claimed was done without a permit but I suspect pre-dated need for a gas permit and the other was for a large patio structure.
