I work with investors who use Tenants in Common (TIC) for income property, and the key is to separate the concept of being on title from how you run the partnership.

Once you get your head wrapped around the concept of what you are doing, instead of viewing QuickBooks as the dastardly accounting software program where you need to be an accounting guru, you will become more relaxed.  

I spoke with my grandmother about this after giving it some thought on my end and she came up with the concept of partnering up with her on the matter rather than my father.

This concept applies to many walks of life, but property management is especially tough if no one in your circles has experience.I'm pretty new to rentals too (and BP, haha, hence the lack of presence on here).
