Everything from dinner to movies is too expensive (in my opinion) in SS anyways  

Spending quality time with my girlfriend, cooking meals from scratch, watching a ton of movies.

Invest in the movies.

This is a fun book to read about an Ex-FBI hostage negotiator, but every story applies to every negotiation even including the movies you watch with your spouse, where you want to eat for dinner and it definitely applies to every family-type negotiation even with your children.

You are absolutely right, it has only been 3 weeks of retirement and i am already tired of day and night just chilling and watching movies etc The good part is my family is happy because i am giving them enough time.but at the same time i don't want to work my *** off all my life and then die for money only. 

Hi Vince,Re. partnering:I would not partner with a new-bee (or a more experienced person) and give him/her majority on all key decisions.But that's me, you guys may be different.Also, if I were on the non work side, I would move slowly, one deal start to finish at a time.Meaning one buy, rehab, rent up, asses the numbers, do it again,,,, if the experience is good and the personalities do not clash--(else shut it down).Be watchful of rehab spending and renter SCREENING, as well as neighborhoods.Go visit  the property while it's being rehabbed looking at the quality of workmanship, and speed of finishing.Talk to your tax pro about how to inject money into the LLC, and have an attorney draft the operating  agreement.Watch the movie "The Super' with Joe Pesci.Good Luck!

That quest ended me reading Flash Boys, books of Barton Biggs, Reminiscences of a Stock Market Operator, books of Tony Robbins Market Wizards, Tower of BASEL, tRADING IN THE ZONE, The Millionaire Mind, think and grow rich, youtube movies of "Wall Street", Boiler Room, Enron, Epic Trader, Meltdown, Million Dollar Trader, Barbarians at the gate, Margin Call, Rogue Trader, Floored, The Big Short, Last Days of Lehman & you name it.

In the past Israeli theaters did not allow guests to bring food into movies.
