You are trying to rationalize folks' discontent with Disney and/or determine the cause(s). 

The author of your second article can't even rationalize his own statements:Let’s say you die before you are able to repay the loan.

They rationalize this bias so consciously, they think it's correct based on the data, when in actuality they're cherry picking data that confirms what their sub conscious is telling them.

Or, if money down is not an issue but income verification is, you can go with a debt service coverage ration (DSCR) loan which only looks at the property's cash flow ability and not at your personal income.

The spreads to make that an economically rational decision haven't been there for a long time.

While REI is a lot of numbers it also includes real people who make really irrational/rational decisions.

I think that we mutually and rationally understand that there’s a middle ground between socialism and institutional racism.

If we're being honest, it's just being vindictive (not saying it's not justified, just not rational from a business point of view.)
