@Jason Johnson I’d say ping pong table, something 2 or 4 people can play together and is very durable and cheap to replace balls, paddles and nets when needed.

Joyce Kilmer is one of our favorite places to go, and in my younger days I would paddle the Cheoah which is an amazing river.  

Pace will give you the direction, the fuel and the map, the community would be the road and infrastructure, but your effort is pushing the paddle and run the engine that's gonna push the car.
