The gas guy shut off the gas to the house and took the meter, stating that the landlord would need to get the repair work inspected before they will come back with the meter.

Once you have gas to the house this give you the option for gas water heater, stove, fire place and dryer.   

Recently, it's got to be such a pain, for the next tenant, I'll pay it, and include it in the rent.Also, in NYC, the gas bill includes a fixed charge for getting gas to the house. it runs about $17.00 month.

The water lighting on fire was done specifically for the movie with people injecting gas to their own water lines.

So far I'm at around $3,000 but it's enough for gas to go to the states REI's Meetings, marketing and getting real estate attorneys to create some contracts for me.

Maybe we use can increase to1,5 tanks but many will keep the same at 1 tank per week, and spend less $amount for Gas.   

It is safer, cleaner, easier, let's not forget how much it may have cost you to take your time not to mention GAS to drive to a bank to get a cashier's check?

That one was worse because in addition to huge price increases, they cut production and there was no gas to be had.

All told - I usually spend about 3-4 hours and $0.00 out of pocket (besides gas) to get my places rented.  

My houses are in Indiana and I had the furnaces converted from gas to electric.
