Make sure you are wanting to evict for valid reasons...reasons that directly affect your investment...and not just personal convictions (smoking, gay, age, job, etc).

I have some experience from my home country Sweden but understand its a very different ball game here.

Have you heard that they eliminated cash in Sweden and you are required to use your plastic credit/debit cards for everything in an effort to keep track of where you have money so they can get all the taxes possible?

Two recent examples:Reagan raised taxes almost 1% of GDP during his time in office (the largest peace-time tax increase in history); he "negotiated with terrorists" (Gorbachev was the most evil person on the planet back then, according to most Americans); he fought for the rights of gays and lesbians 30 years before it was popular; and he granted amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.

Don't think the upstairs guy/gay have anything to do with this yet.I include the utilities with the rent.What should I do ?

What about if a state decides to outlaw gay marriage (that moved from a state issue to a federal issue -- are you okay with that?)

In most states, gays are not a protected class either.I won't rent to a lawyer.
