In some cultures it just takes opening a window to let a soul exit freely. :)

Sometimes it's cultural, and doesn't mean they can't pay a higher rent.  

Since we were the new sheriff in town, it was easy to change the culture. 

Maybe it is in the culture there to try to get a better deal - to negotiate everything.  

Family is Family, And Business is Business, And the two shall never mix, Especially those of us who are immigrants where our culture depicts that your extended extended extended family are as important as your nuclear family.

Several of my tenants have taken a perma culture class together and another one  has a landscaping background as well. 

I am bilingual and have learned to love and respect their culture.

Since young my family invested in rental properties because the good "fame" it has in our culture.

I think it was partly cultural, and partly to save money.
