There is a fire wall between the two units that goes all the way up through the attic.I am looking for a company that comes out and does a sound analysis to see where it might be coming from, has anyone done this?

Mortgage proceeds are not to be used for the rehabilitation of exteriors or other areas which are the responsibility of the condominium association, except for the installation of firewalls in the attic for the unit; Only the lesser of five units per condominium association, or 25 percent of the total number of units, can be undergoing rehabilitation at any one time; The maximum mortgage amount cannot exceed 100 percent of after-improved value.

The HOA was dissolved many years ago leaving the condos without an association, but they cannot be classified as multi family because they don't meet the current code standard of having a firewall between the units.
