I just try to be really upfront when it's a place that I believe others could see as a bias influencing opinion to support bias vs support facts.

There are many factors that can influence the decision, including the family issues you mentioned.

Because remove of such the existing middle class would get far stronger and would grow in size significantly, and thus in it's power and influence.

Our hands are tied accordingly however as we cannot influence the appraiser and need to keep them truly independent (as every legitimate lender in the space knows as well if they want to continue as such)

Taking a year or 3 to do some smaller deals would give you tons of knowledge and experience going into a larger community build, and may influence the type of community you want to build.
