We have a young family (one child) and are looking to make our money work for us rather than just waiting until retirement.Opportunity (and where I could use advice):I came across a social media post from a former high school classmate—now a loan consultant—who was seeking investors for potential flip or BRRRR projects.

From there, take that data and build out a marketing strategy, whether it be social media, advertising online, billboards, tv, radio, direct mail, email, etc....

It became very unsustainable, and I wasn't getting the same ROI with cold calling.A lot of the information you hear on social media is either dated or too ambiguous.

A lot of these gurus are making their money off social media and content creation more than actual investing.  

It feels like anyone who has watched HGTV or has a social media account is now an “investor.”

Another point, I have a W-2 income (spouse is stay at home mom) where I am already above the social security tax income limit.

If you have, I would post on social media your success.

Look on social media, once you get into that topic, it will serve you a lot of it.
