I think it was two days later that the states started declaring emergencies, mandatory quarantines, curfews,businesses closing and all of that.

Essentially we quarantined the house, boarded up the windows, bought in enough Nyquil, Dayquil and whiskey to last us a week and hunkered down.

Early on in the pandemic when we had our adult children living with us, whenever anyone was exposed to COVID our expectation was that the exposed person used one bathroom during a quasi-quarantine period while everyone else used other bathrooms in the home. 

They also SEALED off  kitchen completely with opaque tarps, duct tape and zippers like a hazmat/quarantine scene!
