I'm not telling anyone to make trouble or stir up something I'm saying he should be aware of what his rights are and just because someone posts a violation notice on your door doesn't mean anything and no in fact the city cannot just fine you where you have no recourse in court.

They also continually mention how you can come to these forums for valuable insight.Assuming I have some nefarious intent by replying with a condescending "WHY", or it's as simple as a fourth down play (while not addressing my question) has made my journey here disappointing.I'll leverage rich content within this site and stir clear of commenting in the forums.

This conversation can flow so easily between ethics and business practices that it stirs up emotion pretty easily.

@Theresa Harris while I agree in principal, given the current environment and the lack of habitability i would not want to stir the ants nest so would accept their extension.

There has been some new legislation in the past couple of years and this year, such as the TRACED Act, the STIR/SHAKEN Protocol, the Pallone-Thune Telephone Robocall Abuse Criminal Enforcement and Deterrence Act, etc.

I think it's the fear of not wanting stir the pot.
