For example the one that I live in I put in no pets, no smoking, no sublet, no waterbeds, no inflammatory speech displayed in window,  can't use the roof, decorations must not destroy walls. 

But they are predominantly ground floor elevations rather than having them negotiate stairs to a basement or upper floor unit.

Part of my speech when I sign the lease with my tenants is that I chose them because they paid they bills on time.

It says right in the article that people were letting their dogs poop in the halls, elevators, etc....and not even picking it up.

As an example, in CA you can not prohibit a tenant from posting election signs near an election because it limited the right to free speech.

These are higher in elevation than a standard toilet.

There were signs up all over the lobby and in the elevator, and in the laundry rooms all yelling at you.  

My stock speech is this: The main difference between rental RE and any other form of investing for us mere mortals who aren't hedge funders is that this is the only market we can take serious advantage of borrowing leverage.

And the elevators are dreadfully slow.
