Langer around to look at deals and picking his brain the whole time.. did not make me an expert but It did teach me alot just through osmosis. 

As I am learning, especially from these replies, is that real estate investing requires a lot of sticking with it to see it potentially pay off.I have created an LLC to prep for this, and still learning the ins and outs of this to try out another opportunity.I may need to pick your brain on this further as this may be the way I am thinking of going forward.

If that’s the model you’re talking about here you need to be plain because people are engaging and spending their brain cells trying to have a smart dialogue and you’re talking about something totally different.  

Luckily I got an unsolicited offer from a syndicator with more money than brains, and was able to easily offload it for nearly twice what I had paid just a few years prior.

I'd love to buy coffee/brunch and pick the brain of any who are owners/managers or otherwise involved in long-term rentals in the area.

I made a lot of money in that time period but recognize it was luck not brains.

I suppose there are people with a little money trying to make more and get bitten by the greed bug as they look for ways to transact something they should not be involved with.....it's just greed and the brain telling them to justify it some way. 

LP's even do way more using of their own brains then that. 

Still need a brain and a connection with humans which AI does not have.
