There's probably a reason the lender doesnt want you seeing the inside until after youve closed....There's also probably a reason this house was foreclosed on in the first place instead being sold on the open market for top dollar.

It should sell around 1.2M and I dont have a mortgage - so the proceeds were either going into CD's or maybe doing some Private Lending.But I am considering possibly holding some short term financing for the Buyer ..Any thoughts on this ?

I understand better when I have numbers in front of me.For simplicity, lets say there was no depreciation and no realtors fees.So lets say that the purchase price was 200K and I put in 10k of money for remodel into it, sold for 250K so my taxable portion is going to be 40K?
