We knew that by allowing pets, we would need to schedule deep cleanings every so often but we had dog hair everywhere, mud marks on the door like it had been scratching to get outside, paw marks on the rugs, sheets, etc.

However, unhelpfully, someone came to look at the apartment yesterday and remarked that they could "Smell cats" in the apartment- and this was after the previous tenant with one cat had vacated, and I had both used baking soda and rug shampooed the carpets.I can't smell anything, but I can imagine how bad it will be after a tenant with two cats!
