Probably be best to tell it to consider the Section 469 statute and regulations, also the Section 465 at risk limitations, and then to remember to apply the Section 461(l) excess business loss limitation rule.Hope this helps.I think you are missing the keywords, which is portfolio income.

In terms of using BP - I highly recommend setting up some "keywords" in your settings so that you can get alerted to discussions that talk about "CPA" "Bookkeeper" or "Bookkeeping" and related terms!

I'm curious as well.But, I am sure that one of the CPAs, enrolled agents, or Tax professionals on the forums will be able to answer this question now that I have summoned them with my keyword stuffing.
