If anyone surfs, we can catch a few waves together!

I've been couch surfing (read: bumming) the last year when I am back in the states, and I am incredibly grateful to my kind friends and family, but I can't tell you how old this is getting for all involved.So I decided to settle a bit for now, and find a reasonable home to live in that allows me to easily cover the mortgage, and at the same time continue to save more, and look for another property to buy and hold.

I've been surfing the forums and listen to the podcast and webinars here on BP for the last 6 months and have learned a TON... wish I would have found this place before we spent $20k on a guru, but you live and you learn I guess!

@Brandon Turner has a great video in the "How To" section of the videos titled "How To Get Started in Real Estate Investing for the Struggling Newbie" where he talks about learning how to surf (while he was on his month-long vacation in Hawaii).  

I believe there are still deals out there, it is just going to take a lot more hustle than surfing the MLS.

The property is in a nice touristic area 40 miles from the border and a Mecca for surfing as the waves are very small and perfect for beginners and intermediate surfers.

Most of our money was tied up in a vacation home in Nosara, Costa Rica ( we love to surf). 

I read through your blog posts and found the information very useful, I plan to implement your strategies while surfing BP. 

And, at Punta Horcones are the best surf breaks in the area: Indicator, Dinosaurs, and 411.LOCATION:Cambutal is the new, up and coming hot spot for surfers and deep sea fishermen alike in Central America.
