So called  "Silicon Valley" of India, the city of Bengaluru, growing rapidly in 3rd spot in Asia,  with massive 8.5 million people  has bore-wells  running to 1300 Ft. 

I've stayed in many airbnbs in Asia where the host is an expat that rented a 2 bdrm flat in an expensive district and airbnb the other room to cover their rent.

this is a very small portfolio lender that operates in south east Ohio.

Generally the midwest and southeast cash flow the best and are the most stable IMO. 

If I had to guess, is your property in South East Michigan? 

David Greene wrote "Long Distance Real Estate Investing" which gives you a great tutorial, but I suggest looking at deals in the Midwest or the Southeast to allow your portfolio to get a good base of cash flow, and then once you are ready for some more appreciation focused deals, you can change your target markets.

All these homes are in southeast Georgia, all center townhouses in an HOA community where a monthly fee I pay covers pressure washing, lawn care and access to some neighborhood amenities.
