I've also been looking into aircraft hangers as I am getting my pilot's license and may eventually purchase my own plane although no hanger has cash flowed for me yet.  

one was Katrina Go zone write offs very easy to prove I qualified as a RE professional no adjustments  . the other was airplane and the section 179 bonus  I think they like to pick on Aircraft owner/Pilots who pilot their own planes.. so that one went through log books what was personal what was bizz what was training etc.. no adjustment. 

@Sean OToole Just need a turbo charged aircraft or a turbine and your fine.great airport other wise and the approach into it the views are amazing.

According to a recent article in the Murky News (San Jose Mercury News for non-locals) people are going out to Tracey and Los Banos again for housing; may want to also look in North Contra Costa and South Solano Counties.

I am an aircraft mechanic by trade and my wife is an Ob/Gyn nurse practitioner.

I'd imagine there is a hefty aircraft depreciation expense taken on your taxes too ...
