@Shaun Ng I was told by our future CPA that if you’re filing joint returns then you can take the losses on the real estates not matter who owns title so long as one of you is a RE professional.

See if your brokerage has an agreement for this, most likely they do cause as you know as a real estate salesperson, you should get everything in writing.Hope this helps,NG
