For more privacy, buy a single family home with an ADU, live in the ADU, and rent out the main part of the house by the room.

@Cory Nicol I’m with you man- I’m married with an 11 month old son, so all three of our house-hacks have been “rent by the unit” not “rent by the room” to allow our family privacy and a good standard of living.

Some states might make you have an LLC in that state for a property.Least protection: No LLCsAnother option within those options is to use REPT (Real estate Privacy Trusts) under the LLCs for different properties.

This house competes with apartments but with a yard and privacy that eludes apartments.Everyone wants to buy it that lives there, this house is very easy to rent just a few days.The rent started out at $775 to $1000 over 6 years.
