@Samat Davletshin People are generally moving south and east within the United States (warmer climates), so I would keep that fact in the back of your mind.

The FIRE MOVEMENT books DO talk about that, but many are taking their cue from the YOUR MONEY OR YOUR LIFE book and echoing those ideas quite well in today’s climate.

I understand that the rental seasons may be longer around Asheville/Brevard, than in Highlands/Cashiers given the more mild climate?
