Even in the least expensive places I rent out, I install shower towers with a raincan, a handshower, digital temperature readout, and massage/misting jets.

The " buy and hold " model only works if you are actually in a " buy-massage while holding-mode with your purchase!

There are some great opportunities in many markets right now for buy and hold investors, particularly for interim use as individual private offices for ancillary medical arts like counseling, therapy, and massage. 

In our household the rental income does all the heavy lifting (covers living expenses) and her income is more like Monopoly money, and goes towards mani/pedi/massages, and crazy expensive "healthy" foods that she loves.

They all look great to me but I really don't want someone to call for a massage.

They may have to massage their report quite a bit, but it can and does happen.I'll post some encouragement in a little bit.
