Account Closed when I first went to Charleston 5 years ago I built the first new build on a street that would be considered the HOOD.. hands down.. and it was a risk .. but it turned out that myself and a few others have pioneered what was the hood on the West side of Charleston and proudly have transformed it.. you can do a new build there and have the house next door basically falling down and boarded and it will not affect values to much if at all.I would be all over the brokers if my escalator clause was not used..

It is not staged. most rehabbers feel like they are 'saving" money by not hiring a home stager to stage their empty homes before listing it, but truth is, they are losing a lot of money. a GREAT stager would have been able to solve that storage issue you mentioned by making the buyers see HOW even an external storage could fit well into that house. a stager can literally transform a house making the buyers see themselves living there as soon as they walk in.lastly, did you tell your agent how much you wanted the house to be listed for OR he/she told you the approximate listing price based on realistic comps pulled, and speaking with other realtors in that neigborhood?

Is somebody on here adding up how many engineers invest in real estate and doing a statistical analysis on it, maybe with mean, average, median, standard deviations, a few transformations and differential equations and coming up with an answer on what percentage of RE Investors are engineers???!!!
