Hey All, Is investing in a single-family Airbnb in Fort Lauderdale still worth it?

Better to lock in an interest rate for 30 years, or at least, 5 years.Here's some other info to consider when investing out of state:Recommend you first figure out the property Class you want to invest in, THEN figure out the corresponding location/neighborhoods to invest in.Why is Property Class so important for investors to understand and apply in their investing strategies?

Does anybody invest from out of state in the Houston, TX area?

I regularly buy 80-120 year old buildings and the biggest expense I’ve had that was not planned for was putting in a new larger hot water heater in a location where the old one wasn’t quite keeping up.

Keep it simple: define your buy box, underwrite deals with conservative rents and full expenses, and practice your 60‑second pitch to investors using a credibility‑first frame: problem, plan, numbers, protection, timeline.

The plan is to build our portfolio with BRRRRs and fix and flips then maybe in the future get into STRs.
