Musk seems to be all too alone in arena of innovation, chasing the impossible into "done". 

Some of the talk coming from the Trump camp is promising, specifically Elon musk and the department of government efficiency.

I've been hearing 'horror' stories of business (even large ones) ditching the Austin area...and Elon taking back is application to be part of Austin proper.  

I guarantee Musk cares more about his money, property, kids, and bathroom floor than the hired help, but that doesn't mean he is better suited for the job or that he has the time, skills, and energy to handle it.Maybe you're part of the small percentage that can do a better job.

Tesla Inc. appears to be on the verge of a major expansion of its huge factory in eastern Travis County, with recent filings indicating the Elon Musk-led company intends to add 5 million square feet to it — a 50% increase from its current size of 10 million square feet.

You don't see Elon out there trying to sell Tesla's do you?

300 jobs isn't a lot to bring to Memphis for a $3-4 billion dollar project (it doesn't take much to run a data center). personally I'm a musk fan, but we have to consider the ramifications to demanding this much energy.
