I send a message asking if everything is good with the house and we leave a nice treat in the fridge from a local German bakery.So after 10 years we get a response like " The house is beautiful we appreciate the attention to detail and thank you so much for the treat"This sets the stage for a 5 star review.

The cleaners would fire me and my cabins just don't seem like they're spacious enough to shove in German Shepards and Great Danes.

However, it seems none of the metrics is applicable to the German market.

Bottom line, the wine isn't worth the fermentation...errr...juice worth the squeeze...I agree, too much liability.You could also offend someone else.We leave baked goods from a popular local German bakery.

Some neighborhoods in that area are fully gentrified (German Village), some are strongly in process/nearly fully there (Merion Village), and some are on the cusp and are currently a mix of flips/rentals and more dilapidated properties (South Side). 

Most of these duplexes were purpose built by German immigrants in the 1920s with the idea to rent out upstairs for extra income.
