You know what, they may spoon feed you that first deal...maybe.  

In Portland we have a local meetup that cost money its called Rare bird... now the guys running it are in the business and they are smart they charge but they also bring in good content ( I know they had me as a guest speaker :)  ))But even better is they get spoon fed deals with all the folks that are members ..

I'd take a good recommendation from someone I know personally over a spoon fed reference.I have been there, and used some creative ways to find contractors that will give  a lower price.

Most people have been spoon fed a way of thinking. 

CAM's work for the Board, but take the "I'm a friendly investor, concerned about my investment" approach with a heaping spoonful of sugar.

I think yours is broken.Wanting knowledge is one step closer but you can see no one is going to spoon feed you.

Not here to deter you, but I see a lotta posts from guys with less than 5 posts asking to be spoon fed info, I was guilty of that too.
