Downside protection is a big reason a lot of folks include CRE in their portfolio.I'd also argue that vetting Operators isn't THAT much more intensive than vetting funds, especially when you know the fundamentals of what to look for and can you streamline the process.

A few posts from the forums and now your insightful posts/responses streamlined steps helped me get past that.I’m now researching to get 1) Deal under contract and 4) business plan to close 1) including the value add/ asset management.If there is a MFR deal with 50k-70k and 25k in renovations I know I can get / have the finances aligned.
